As a proud member of AILA, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, I keep informed of the latest developments and new laws. I am Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and I use my legal knowledge to counsel my clients and to meet every viable immigration law need and possibility under existing law. Honors and Awards: I was awarded The Top Lawyers for the People Award March 2005 in personal injury law by the H Texas magazine.I was presented with an Award of Appreciation for the efforts extended to the citizens of Indonesia in 16 states in 2003 for the Immigration seminars that I provided Pro Bono and toured with the Indonesian Consulate General in Houston regarding Special Registration post 9/11 of nationals of Indonesia explaining their legal immigration rights, duties and options, etc.

Pro bono/Community Service: T-Visas for victims of Human Trafficking from Indonesia. Case were sucessfully prosecuted by the Assistant United States Attorney and FBI for the Southern District of Texas, Houston. Recovered $72,000 in back pay for the trafficking victim., 2008

Other Outstanding Achievements: I was elected as Election Chairman of the Indonesian Overseas Election Commission Committe by the Indonesian Consulate General in Houston, Texas for the 2008-2009 Parliamentary and Presidential/Vice Presidential Election of Indonesia for the Houston jurisdiction and 10 additional states of the Southern United States with a $120,000 budget., 2008, Interviewed on CNN Asian Edition Program Re. Prospects for democracy in Indonesia and new Habibie government by Jakarta Bureau Chief Maria Ressa, 1998.Taught a cross-cultural training seminar for ANADARKO executives on Indonesian politics and economy, Houston, TX, 2002.Also in 2002, I toured 5 U.S. cities and held seminars in special registration (NSEERS) for immigrants that had to register with immigration under a new law established after 9/11. The events were organized through the Consulate General of Indonesia in Houston, and I was their sole attorney speaker.
