Profile

Marina Kats, managing partner of Kats, Jamison, van der Veen & Associates, was named again in 2009 to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list by her peers. She proudly represents clients in the tri-state area and serves as an active Board Member for Albert Einstein Hospital and the President's Advisory Board of Temple University. Marina hosts a weekly radio show on WNWR AM 1540 New World Radio and is the President of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce. She was named one of the 50 Best Business Women in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by Governor Tom Ridge and a Woman of the Year by Philly Magazine. Marina made history in 2008 by being the first Ukrainian-American candidate to run for a U.S. Congressional seat. Her proudest accomplishment is having achieved a number of multimillion-dollar settlements while serving her clients in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation, and criminal litigation.
