The firm was established in 1962 by Thomas J. Foley Jr., solely to represent injury victims and their families. The firm has grown to include eight attorneys, a medical doctor, two registered nurses and a full staff of paralegals, legal secretaries and support personnel all dedicated to a shared commitment to our clients.
Excellence
The Foley Law Firm is the only plaintiffs’ personal injury firm in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania to have six lawyers chosen by their peers to Super Lawyers®. Six members of the firm also served as clerks for justices of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and all eight members of the firm have been admitted to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Michael J. McDonald is a governor of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, a past president of the Federal Bar Association for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Lackawanna County Bar Association. Michael J. Foley is the president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. Kevin P. Foley is on the board of governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and Malcolm L. MacGregor is past president of the Federal Bar Association for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, a past president of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and immediate past chairman of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section.
Results
The firm has obtained numerous multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements for its clients, including the only million-dollar verdict in Wayne County and the largest multimillion-dollar verdicts in Monroe County, including the largest medical malpractice and automobile collision verdict in Wyoming County and largest trucking brain injury settlement in Lackawanna County.
