Honors and Awards: Member of the Law Review in Law School, and graduated with Honors in 1975, Top Divorce Lawyer - DC Area (multiple years), Washingtonian
Bar/Professional Activity: I have served three terms on the Steering Committee of the D.C. Bar's Family Law Section, and while serving as Co-Chair, the Section received the Frederick B. Abramson Award for Superior Service to the community and to the D.C. Bar's PSAC Advice and Referral Clinic.  I regularly volunteer at the D.C. Superior Court's Self-Help Center and participate as a volunteer in the Bar's Attorney-Negotiator pilot project and the Domestic Relations ADR FAcilitator Program. 
Pro bono/Community Service: In 1997, my pro bono work was recogniized by the D.C. Bar in an article in the Bar Maganize, which focused on my mentoring activities.  Since then I have served as pro bono Guardian ad Litem at the request of a D.C. Superior Court Judge, and I served on the Advisory Board to FLOC (For Love of Children).  I enjoy volunteering at the Self Help Center at the Superior Court and serving as an Attorney-Negotiator on a pro bono basis to assist the unrepresented litigants in the Family Court.
