Richard Jaklitsch, Deborah Potter and Robert Zarbin have again been included on the 2009 Maryland Super Lawyers® list. All three were again listed this year in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. In addition to being recognized in Super Lawyers, both in Maryland and in the District of Columbia, Jaklitsch was once again listed in Who’s Who in American Law. He has served in the past on the board of governors of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and was selected by Gov. Bob Ehrlich to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission for Prince George’s County. Jaklitsch handles personal injury claims as well as wrongful death cases.

Debbie Potter’s first nationally acclaimed verdict was against the Ford Motor Company for $26 million. Since then, she has been recognized for her trial work in truck accident cases, nursing home negligence and other personal injury matters. She was the youngest president of the Anne Arundel Bar Association. The Court of Appeals of Maryland chose Potter to be included as a member of the Rules Committee and the Professionalism Commission.

Robert Zarbin is the vice president of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association. As the past chair of its Legislative Committee and workers’ compensation section, Zarbin worked tirelessly for the passage of legislation that helps to protect people injured as a result of the wrongful acts of others. Zarbin’s personal injury practice includes automobile claims, trucking accidents, premises liability claims, workers’ compensation claims and wrongful death claims.
