The Jaklitsch Law Group—Maryland’s personal injury law firm—has once again been recognized for its hard work and dedication in protecting people injured due to the negligence of others.
Richard Jaklitsch, Deborah Potter and Robert Zarbin have again been included on the 2009 Maryland Super Lawyers® list. Our attorneys hold AV ratings from Martindale-Hubbell®, reserved for only the top 1 percent of attorneys in the United States. All three were again listed this year in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. They have been awarded these honors in recognition of their work representing people who have been injured as a result of automobile collisions, truck accidents, nursing home neglect, on-the-job injuries and wrongful death cases.
In addition to being recognized in Super Lawyers, both in Maryland and in the District of Columbia, Jaklitsch was once again listed in Who’s Who in American Law. He has served in the past on the board of governors of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and was selected by Gov. Bob Ehrlich to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission for Prince George’s County. Jaklitsch handles personal injury claims as well as wrongful death cases.
Debbie Potter’s first nationally acclaimed verdict was against the Ford Motor Company for $26 million. Since then, she has been recognized for her trial work in truck accident cases, nursing home negligence and other personal injury matters. She was the youngest president of the Anne Arundel Bar Association. The Court of Appeals of Maryland chose Potter to be included as a member of the Rules Committee and the Professionalism Commission.
Robert Zarbin is the vice president of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association. As the past chair of its Legislative Committee and workers’ compensation section, Zarbin worked tirelessly for the passage of legislation that helps to protect people injured as a result of the wrongful acts of others. Zarbin’s personal injury practice includes automobile claims, trucking accidents, premises liability claims, workers’ compensation claims and wrongful death claims.
The Jaklitsch Law Group practices in every county in the state of Maryland, as well as the District of Columbia, handling plaintiffs’ personal injury cases, nursing home negligence, truck accidents, workers’ compensation claims and wrongful death cases.
